| I was just thinking about the time I went to Vancouver and stayed at the Waterfront Hotel - my friend got sick on the way out there and they sent a doctor to the room. Unreal - as a matter of fact on the plane ride out I was reading a mag that said it was rated for the second best service in North America. I don't even know if the hotel is still under the same name - but it was great. The largest picture window ever overlooking the bay. | ||

My hotel stays have been limited... but my most memorable one was yes, one with a huge window overlooking the ocean. It was just in Prince Rupert, BC actually. Really nice. Anywhere with the ocean is my fave... oh, actyally, a waterfront condo I once stayed in in Tofino... Long Beach- AMAZING ATMOSPHERE!
I need to travel more!

| I'd have to say one of my best experiences was in Chicago recently. Gorgeous room - great friendly service - it was at the Renaissance O'Hare. I truly enjoyed the hotel and what I'll remember the most is how great the shower was. | ||

Oh I love Chicago. Great city. Although, funny and sadly enough, that is the only place out east I have been. 
I would have to say I don't have much as far as 'nice hotel experiences'. I am more of a bed and breakfast gal myself. But a resort...I can name the best....the Marriot Resort and Spa in Palm Desert was such an amazing getaway. The rooms are large condos with an amazing sun deck backing right onto the golf course. Everything down to the door frame moldings was first class. Then you have the two huge pools across the street with bars, cababanas, and food service while you bake in the sun.....ahhh, I am there all over again.
