I think there is too much coverage of the story for sure.  I was really disappointed the other day to see the story lead one of our LOCAL television news broadcasts. Yes, a lot of people seem to care about this story- but REALLY how many people does it affect??? Our obsession with celebrity culture is totally going overboard. When Anna Nicole's death tops a story about local healthcare, which affects so many more people... one has to scratch their head.

Agreed. Why have people become so consumed with tragedy? Do they need drama to feel alive?
Perhaps the balance to the lives lost in the predicted earthquakes of the west coast would be the surmise of Hollywood and all its lies and pretentiousness.  Sadly!

| YES, quite sadly I would say the majority of people these days do need outside drama to feel alive... it is really sad. Get a life people! That's exactly why I don't watch the news unless I have to. Lets talk about things that are productive and positive- imagine the shift the universe would encounter! More talk about how we can make things better, instead of focussing on negativity and superficiality. Sometimes I just want to go live in a forest so I don't have to hear about this crap. | ||
