| WOW - This movie (Children of Men) is great. I'm heading out to see Stranger than Fiction today - anyone have any suggestions as to whether or not this is any good? | ||

| I enjoyed this movie... I'd say most people who don't like it, aren't getting the real message and the point of it, which is to live your life to the fullest. That simple. Walking into the theather, it was not at all what I expected it to be, but in the end I found it to be a real feel good movie. Check it out for sure! | ||

I thought it was going to be a sci-fi thriller and it ended up being a really good movie. Yes I am implying that sci-fi and good movie do not belong together. 
I felt that taken in the intended context it was a feel good movie.  Two thumbs up says I.

Stranger than Fiction was pretty good... like MP said, it wasn't what I was expecting- and ALL of the funny parts were in the previews (as usual), but once you got into it, and took it for something with depth (unlike a lot of Will's movies) it was actually a really good story.
And... HAPPY FEET... the new kids' movie, is really great too. I love how all of the animated movies are pleasant for both kids and the parents to watch. Happy Feet touched on a very pertinent topic of the day: how we, as humans are destroying our planet and exploiting nature for monetary gain. My daughter liked the cute penguins, I appreciated the fact Hollywood is addressing some important issues.
Speaking of... has anyone seen that Al Gore documentary about the environment? I heard it really hits you hard when you watch it. Gotta check that one out too. That's all I've got for now.

Blood Diamonds was real good. After I watched that I decided I would only buy Canadian Diamonds. Besides ours has the cute polar bear on it...
The Departed was amazing. Hhmm...I know I have seen many more lately.... |

Ya he will be in Calgary soon. Another good show I recommend EVERYONE to watch is "The Secret". Go find it- you can get it at Chapters now.
